Identity theft continues to be a worldwide issue as individuals and corporations invest in measures to secure what is rightfully theirs.
A similar problem exists in the spiritual realm where we face harmful forces that seek to rob us of self-worth and prevent us from being who we were created to be. These harmful forces attack our thought patterns and can be acted out in sinful, destructive ways. You may have experienced destructive thoughts like these;
“I must do certain things or be accepted by certain people to feel good about myself,” “Those who fail must be punished, including me!” or “I can’t change. I am hopeless.”

During our July series, we will examine how we fall prey to “Identity Theft” in our personal lives. We’ll expose four prevalent lies that negatively impact our life, and we’ll learn to respond to each lie with a corresponding Biblical truth enabling us to embrace the love and truth of Christ that helps us live and love with freedom and a reclaimed self-worth.

Grounded on the Person and work of Christ, and using some of the Biblical insights of Robert McGee’s best selling book, “The Search for Significance,” we’ll learn to embrace the truth that true self-worth is found only in the love, acceptance and forgiveness of God through Jesus Christ.
