Stories of lives on mission
Forest Hill is building bridges that connect everyone to dynamic life in Christ. That means everyone who walks in the doors of our church, but also, everyone who doesn’t. We care about the city we live in, and the world more broadly. We are motivated by Jesus’ words that he came to give life and give it abundantly. We respond to the words of the prophet Jeremiah, encouraging God’s people to “seek the shalom (the peace and flourishing)” of the city where they dwell. Here are just a few stories of how Forest Hill is participating in this work and a few ways you can get involved too!
Urban Promise
Urban Promise is a long-standing partner of Forest Hill. With the mission to reach a child, raise a leader and restore a community, we see the work they do as critical to the flourishing of the city. Located at one of our campuses and with a second site about to launch Mayfield Memorial Baptist Church in the North of Charlotte, we are excited to see what God has in store.
MENA
Globally, we are focused on the Middle East, North Africa regions of the world. We believe that local partners are the key to reaching this part of the world. That’s why we have a collaborative relationship with several churches in Egypt, Lebanon and others throughout the middle east. There is so much we have learned from them about how to live into the dynamic life in Christ, and so much we can share with them as well.
Campus Impact
Each of our campuses also have key partnerships from local ESL classes to global partnerships in key cities around the world. We even have several that have grown straight out of the people from the church that found themselves called to get deeper involved in the work of Jesus in the city.

As a church, Forest Hill commits 20% of all giving straight to our partners serving the needs of our city and reaching the world with the good news of Jesus.
