Join our RUN BALLANTYNE TEAM!

This Ballantyne road race tradition continues on Saturday, April 5, 2025, marking the 21st annual Run! Ballantyne 8K, 5K, and Fun Run presented by Northwood Office. With over 1,400 participants in 2024, this YMCA signature event is one of the largest road races in the Ballantyne area. Hit the pavement and make your footprints count in support of the YMCA Better Us Campaign that gives youth an opportunity to play, learn and grow in a safe and thriving environment.

Run! Ballantyne serves as the second race in the 2025 YMCA Race Series. With multiple routes designed within the Ballantyne Corporate Park and new greenway connections, this event is perfect for runners and walkers of all levels and ages – beginner to expert. Finishers will receive a custom die-cast finisher medal after crossing the finish line and everyone can enjoy a post-race party hosted by a live DJ at The Amp at the Ballantyne Bowl.

Ballantyne Families, let’s come together and Choose Community! We’ll meet at Blakeney to have lunch together for an hour or so and connect with other families we may or may not know. Families will purchase their own food and meet near the playground area in Blakeney to eat together. We can’t wait to connect with you!

If you are new to Forest Hill, Discover Forest Hill is a great NEXT STEP for you. This is an opportunity to learn more about our church, get to know some staff and campus leaders and learn how to take a next step into all the things that are happening around our church. It will be held immediately after service in the Community room and refreshments will be served. Our Campus Pastor, Joe Lanman, will give a brief overview of the church, and there will be plenty of time to ask time for questions and get to know one another. Kids are welcome.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Alpha is a series of 6 group conversations that explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Each week you’ll have a chance to discuss who Jesus is, what faith means, and get tools to help you study the Bible and learn how to pray. You’ll have a chance to ask lots of questions and meet new people.
We are offering this Learning Community online only.

Middle School Camp helps the next student to take their next step in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Throughout the week students will take actionable steps with our Forest Hill Church outreach partners by participating in opportunities on camp property to serve. Not only will your middle schooler learn what it means to serve with a heart focused on the Lord, but they will also get to participate in a lot of recreation activities. Some activities include zip lines, lake time, climbing walls, horseback riding, hummer rides and more! This is a great opportunity for your student to take their next steps and grow deeper in Christ!

Planes and Picnic – This event is for all college aged students and their friends! Come hang with us at the Airport Overlook (5130 Airport Overlook Dr, Charlotte, NC)! Bring money for a food truck, or bring a dinner to eat while we connect and watch some planes come and go. Bring a friend and we will see you there!
