At Forest Hill Church, we believe that care is an essential part of discipleship. Life’s difficulties can interrupt our journey, but they also open doors for healing, transformation, and deeper faith. The Pastoral Care Ministry (PCM) exists to help people take their next step with Jesus by offering holistic, Christ-centered support in seasons of trauma, crisis, or hardship. Our desire is to see people move from brokenness to blessing, from struggle to strength, and from pain to purpose—living lives of gratitude to “the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble” (2 Corinthians 1:3–4).

How Can We Help? The FHC Care Champion Ministry!
Life can be hard, but you were never meant to walk through it alone. Whether your need is emotional, relational, spiritual, financial, or something else entirely, we’re here to offer care and support rooted in the compassion of Christ.
At every Forest Hill campus, our Care Coordinators receive your requests and connect you with trained and equipped Care Champions—members of our church family equipped to walk with you in times of need. Though they are not licensed counselors, our Care Champions include elders, deacons, and ministry staff who are trained to listen well, offer biblical encouragement, help you apply healthy practices, and connect you to helpful resources.

Caring for Families
Families experience seasons of both joy and strain and navigating them can be difficult and painful. Whether you’re walking through a crisis or simply seeking support to grow together in faith, our Pastoral Care Team is here to come alongside you. Through prayer, guidance, and practical care, we hope to strengthen not only your home, but also our church family as a whole. Let us know how we can support your family’s next step.
Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP)
Healing involves more than just treating symptoms—it also touches the soul. Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP) is a therapeutic approach that brings together licensed counseling and Christian faith, affirming the importance of psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This model creates space for people to explore their story, renew their relationship with God, and experience meaningful growth. SIP honors each individual’s convictions and faith journey while offering evidence-based care grounded in biblical truth and the power of the Gospel of Christ.
The Ministry of Care Through Prayer
Prayer is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re in a time of celebration or deep need, we believe prayer connects us to God’s presence, power, and peace. Across all our campuses, we offer spaces for personal reflection, communal prayer, and dedicated times for our pastors and elders to pray with and for you. If you’re seeking comfort, direction, or healing, we would be honored to lift you up in prayer—and trust God to meet you with His grace. As James 5:14 reminds us, prayer is one of the Church’s most sacred gifts.
We invite you to join us in all aspects and opportunities of prayer here at Forest Hill.
