Who We Are

At Forest Hill Church, our vision “to bring heaven to greater Charlotte one person at a time” and our mission “to help the next person take their next step in their relationship with Jesus” can, at times, be disrupted by the difficult challenges and trials we all face in life. We realize that helping others take their next step often requires us to take our own next step—seeking care and support toward hope and healing during seasons of trauma, crisis, or hardship.
The Pastoral Care Ministry (PCM) of Forest Hill Church seeks to provide holistic care to those actively engaged in our faith community, encouraging and empowering them to move from brokenness to blessing, from struggle to strength, from pain to purpose, so they can fully engage in the mission and vision of FHC.
Together, through giving and receiving compassionate care, we seek to encourage wholeness and flourishing in lives overflowing with praise and gratitude to God, “the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)
