rEcess is a respite night event that provides parents of children with disabilities an opportunity to enjoy time away while their children and their siblings are cared for and engaged by a team of Forest Hill Church staff and volunteers. This free event is open to families with children aged 3 to 15 years old who have disabilities, as well as their siblings.
We welcome adults and students (8th grade and above) from Forest Hill Church to serve at rEcess. Whether you are welcoming families, helping with activities, playing with siblings, or being a buddy to a child with disabilities, there is a place for you at rEcess! Experience is not required, and training will be provided.
