A NOTE FROM ELISE

For the past 12 years, Forest Hill Church has truly been home for our family. Since the day the doors opened, the Waxhaw campus has become our safe place, filled with friends we call family and discipleship opportunities that have led us to fall more and more in love with Jesus. That’s why I’m so excited to share Serving Made Simple with you, our family, because I believe with all my heart that when families step into generosity together, real change happens.

Serving Made Simple is a workbook packed with 18 unique kid-led serve ideas. It was created to help your kids discover the truth that they are capable of being the hands and feet of Jesus, just as they are. My prayer is that they will experience the joy in actively loving the people around them. That as a parent, you would be bold to teach them about hard things and give them opportunities to be a part of making a difference for His Kingdom.

We were never meant to sit on the sidelines – we were created to go, to serve and to shine His light in our homes, our communities and all over the world.

I know that as you use the ideas in Serving Made Simple to build a rhythm of serving together, you’ll see hearts change, conversations deepen and faith come alive in ways you never expected.
