Every Tuesday throughout the winter we will be sheltering 12 homeless neighbors from the Roof Above.

FAQ:

How are neighbors selected?

Roof Above receives neighbors who would like to participate in the program. They are screened and then assigned to a location. Last year we received a diverse group of both men and women, and several children.

What are the sleeping arrangments?

We have 14 cots and mattresses with clean sheets and blankets spaced out in our large Student Sanctuary.

Why are the morning shifts so early?

Many neighbors have to be at work early the next day, and public transportation takes a long time.

Can children volunteer?

Children can serve alongside dinner hosts with adult supervision, or on the setup team. We want to avoid overwhelming our guests with too many children at once, so numbers should be limited.

DRIVE is a weekend retreat at Crowders Ridge (Crowders Mountain) where high schoolers will grow in their faith, connect with their leaders and friends, and enjoy all the recreation camp offers. Through engaging worship, captivating messages, and small group time with their leaders, our students will receive the love and grace of Jesus.

*Important: There will be no buses this year; please plan to drop your student at Crowders Ridge on Friday evening and pick them up on Sunday morning.

Alpha is a series of 6 group conversations that explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Each week you’ll have a chance to discuss who Jesus is, what faith means, and get tools to help you study the Bible and learn how to pray. You’ll have a chance to ask lots of questions and meet new people.
We are offering this Learning Community online only.

Camp Rock registration opens Monday, March 3rd at 10am. For more information, visit www.foresthill.org/camprock. 

Middle School Camp helps the next student to take their next step in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Throughout the week students will take actionable steps with our Forest Hill Church outreach partners by participating in opportunities on camp property to serve. Not only will your middle schooler learn what it means to serve with a heart focused on the Lord, but they will also get to participate in a lot of recreation activities. Some activities include zip lines, lake time, climbing walls, horseback riding, hummer rides and more! This is a great opportunity for your student to take their next steps and grow deeper in Christ!

This event is for all college aged students and their friends! Happy little trees, or happy little accidents? Whatever your skill level, come join us as we attempt to follow along with Bob Ross and find the joy of painting! We will have all the supplies, but you are welcome to bring your own if you would like. We will be meeting at the South Park Campus, and don’t forget to bring a friend!

Can’t wait to see you at the March TwentyThirty event. Doc Hanberry will be our guest and is speaking about a mystery topic. We will have a bonfire after party. You wouldn’t want to miss this evening of fun!
