How are neighbors selected?

Roof Above receives neighbors who would like to participate in the program. They are screened and then assigned to a location. Last year we received a diverse group of both men and women, and several children.

What are the sleeping arrangments?

We have 14 cots and mattresses with clean sheets and blankets spaced out in our large Student Sanctuary.

Why are the morning shifts so early?

Many neighbors have to be at work early the next day, and public transportation takes a long time.

Can children volunteer?

Children can serve alongside dinner hosts with adult supervision, or on the setup team. We want to avoid overwhelming our guests with too many children at once, so numbers should be limited.

DRIVE is a weekend retreat at Crowders Ridge (Crowders Mountain) where high schoolers will grow in their faith, connect with their leaders and friends, and enjoy all the recreation camp offers. Through engaging worship, captivating messages, and small group time with their leaders, our students will receive the love and grace of Jesus.

*Important: There will be no buses this year; please plan to drop your student at Crowders Ridge on Friday evening and pick them up on Sunday morning.
