South Park Campus Events

Join us on April 28th for a Spring Cookout immediately following 2nd service.

We provide the hamburgers and hotdogs YOU bring a side to share and or a dessert!!!

We will just be hanging out in the courtyard at South Park eating and fellowshipping together. We hope to see you there!!!

You are invited to be a part of our community 5k event on Saturday, May 18th! This fun run will take place in Brookhill Village located at 409 Basin Street. This event is for the whole family…little kids, big kids, runners, walkers, strollers, and everything in between!  Well, except our fur babies (no dogs) and bicycles.  If running is not your thing, come and join us for the community block party. Bring your family and your neighbors as we join together as a community to have fun and support others in need right here in Charlotte.

We have partnered with The Harvest Center of Charlotte in hopes to raise funds to further their mission to “To create a community for individuals affected by homelessness, poverty, and unemployment to be empowered through our transitional programs and transformed by the love and ministry of Jesus Christ.”

This event is FREE to attend. No registration fees required.  In fact, the first 125 registrants will get a FREE T-SHIRT!  However, our goal is to reach $50,000 to help support this wonderful ministry. If you feel inclined you can donate below, right now, by clicking the registration button below.  Thank you for your generosity!

rEcess offers parents of children with disabilities an opportunity to take a break while our dedicated team of Joni & Friends and Forest Hill Church staff and volunteers provides care and a variety of games and activities for their child and their child’s siblings. The event is free and welcomes families with children aged 3-14 with disabilities, along with their siblings in the same age range.

Join us for “Alpha,” our Spring/Summer Learning Community. It will be offered both Online on Monday evenings (beginning May 6th) and in-person at the South Park Campus on Tuesday evenings (beginning May 7th).

Alpha is a series of 6 group conversations that explore the basics of the Christian faith. Each week you’ll have a chance to discuss who Jesus is, what faith means and get tools to help you study the Bible and learn how to pray. You’ll have a chance to ask lots of questions and meet new people.

This event is for all college aged students and their friends! Join us for a hiking trip to Crowders Mountain. We will meet at the visitor center at 522 Park Office Ln, Kings Mountain, NC. Be sure to bring water, lunch for the top, good hiking shoes, and a friend!

All FH Youth at one place, at one time! This event is a time for students to come together from across all Forest Hill campus to fellowship, worship, pray, and grow in their faith and community.

Date: Sunday, May 19th from 5-8pm | Location: Forest Hill Church – Fort Mill

Join us for a night of happy little connections as we paint, snack and make some new friends, all while following the lead of beloved artist Bob Ross. Aren’t artistic? No worries! All skill levels are welcome.

Date/Location: Thursday, May 23rd at 6:30pm at the South Park campus in the Charis Room.

Cost: $10 which will include a painting canvas and paint as well as some cheese to class up the evening. Be sure to register so we have enough brushes and brie.

Every Thursday Night All Summer!
Hey 20s and 30s! Come out and join us for some sand volleyball at the Morrison YMCA (9405 Bryant Farms Road). Great time to meet people and have some fun. No experience necessary! We play every Thursday night all summer June 6-August 29 from 6:30pm to 9pm.

Join us in making a difference as we pack 100,000 meals for Haiti. This is a family event from 9-11:30am at the Morrison YMCA gymnasium.
