Join us December 3rd, 7:00pm in the Charis room for a night of worship and prayer as we reset our hearts and minds to be with God this holiday season.

Welcome the staff and participants of The Harvest Center into our church home as honored guests. We will celebrate Christmas as an extended family in Christ with dinner and fun! Serve as a party host and care for the Harvest Center through hospitality.

Let’s serve our community with the love and compassion of Jesus! Every Tuesday, throughout the winter, Forest Hill Church will be hosting 12 homeless neighbors from the Roof Above.

How are neighbors selected?

Roof Above receives neighbors who would like to participate in the program. They are screened and then assigned to a location. Last year we received a diverse group of both men and women, and several children.

What are the sleeping arrangments?

We have 14 cots and mattresses with clean sheets and blankets spaced out in our large Student Sanctuary.

Why are the morning shifts so early?

Many neighbors have to be at work early the next day, and public transportation takes a long time.

Can children volunteer?

Children can serve alongside dinner hosts with adult supervision, or on the setup team. We want to avoid overwhelming our guests with too many children at once, so numbers should be limited.

Help us to wrap all the donated gifts for the families at the Harvest Center! Lunch will be provided.
