OUR HEART

At Forest Hill Church, we value kids, students, and adults with special needs and believe they are indispensable to the life and ministry of the church. Our goal is to promote the belonging of people impacted by disability and their families by supporting their access to worship, discipleship, fellowship, and opportunities to share their gifts.

KIDS & STUDENTS

Our NextGen ministry welcomes children and students with special needs in our FH Kids and Youth environments and programs. We work with each family to provide support so that every child and student can participate as independently as possible. A buddy (one-on-one) trained volunteer may be able to facilitate access to Bible lessons, group activities, fellowship, camps, trips, and events.

ADULTS

At Forest Hill, we believe that lives are most effectively changed in genuine, real relationships and community. In Bridge Groups, we study the Bible, build friendships, and serve the community. The Disability Inclusion Bridge Groups are specifically designed for adults (18+) with learning and developmental disabilities, and are facilitated by compassionate and skilled volunteers. Our BridgeGroup engages in Bible lessons, fellowship, and prayer in a sensory-friendly environment. To better serve all of our members, registration is required prior to joining. Please fill out the interest form below, and we will contact you to coordinate your first visit.
